We have a great program to raise cash

for your favorite organization!

Does your non-profit group need more cash for your worthwhile programs? Now, Hannibal Village Market IGA is introducing a cash register tape program to help all qualified non-profit groups raise cash.

This is our way of thanking you for your continued patronage. By sharing our income, we can help make our shopping area a better community in which we live.

It’s easy and profitable!

Encourage your members and friends to save their register tapes very time they shop at the Hannibal Village Market IGA. Tapes may be deposited in a receptacle in our store, or saved at your group headquarters.

We will give you $1 for every $400 in tapes that you return to us. We ask that you send us your tapes once every three months, as the attached rules indicate.

Joining is easy too!

If your group would like to join our program, please stop by the store and fill out an application. Ask for Mona Hendricks or myself, Jim Mirabito.

Thank you for caring about our community.

Note: Program details may be changed or program may be
discontinued without notice at any time.

CASH REGISTER TAPE PROGRAM RULES

1. Program is open to all qualified non-profit groups in our trading area including: Hannibal, Cato, Martville, Sterling, Fair Haven and Red Creek. Additional areas will be considered individually.

4. By participating, you are authorizing us to use your name and/or photo for publicity purposes.

5. This program may be changed or discontinued at any time. If so, we will attempt to notify all participating groups prior to any change.

6. From our observations we have noticed some things that groups have done to increase their reward.

a. Publicize your need for the tapes

b. Make it easy to donate tapes

  • Publicize collection points
  • Regular reminders on signs, newsletters, emails, etc…

c. Dedicate reward to specific need

d. Publicize your reward and thank those that have helped

e. Have contests to collect the most tapes

Our Save-A-Tape program has helped us invest more than $42,000 in our community with groups that need our help.

Reminder: Our cashiers are not allowed to “save” tapes. Please do not ask them.

Thank you,

Cindy & Jim Mirabito

Hannibal Village Market IGA
Hosts 10th Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon

Hannibal Village Market IGA celebrated its 10th annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Luncheon on December 14, 2004, at the Hannibal Fire Department’s Recreation Hall. More than 80 area resident seniors were on hand for the festivities that included a performance by the Hannibal High School Select Chorus and members of the Hannibal High School Band.

Between the concert performances, the students joined the seniors for a holiday luncheon provided by the Hannibal IGA.

“This multigenerational holiday event is a great way for the IGA to help bring together young and old from our community,” said Jim Mirabito, owner of the Hannibal IGA. “Many of the seniors are unable to get out to enjoy the school concerts, with this luncheon, we bring the concert to the seniors,” he said. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon.
